After earning great praise for his work on ABC’s new horror thriller, The River, Zack Estrin will now tackle writing duties for the upcoming Paranormal Activity 4. According to THR, Paramount secured a deal with Estrin to scribe the flick, working alongside franchise co-creators Oren Peli and Jason Blum. Paranormal Activity 3 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman were announced to return for the fourth film a while back, but no deal has been closed as of yet. Paranormal Activity 4 is still scheduled for an October 19 release.
