Back in July, Capcom revealed it was working on Resident Evil 6. And while the hype died down for bit, Siliconera managed to stir up the rumor mill after capturing a screenshot of voice actor Joe Cappelletti’s credit page, which lists the new RE game as one of his recent projects. Cappelletti removed the listing from his resume once the story broke.
Earlier in the summer, EGM cited a “reliable source” who claimed RE6 was in development and that Capcom was working on making the title “the most gruesome Resident Evil game to date,” while placing a huge focus “on making the game brutally scary.” It’s unknown whether RE6 will be released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 or if Capcom has plans of bringing it to next-gen consoles.
