Norton Plotting Marvel Return?

Heavily disappointed with the final cut of his co-produced/writing project, “The Incredible Hulk,” Edward Norton Jr. was quick to dispel his involvements in any future Marvel projects. Now with such enormous expectations surrounding “The Avengers” film; alongside the Thor, Captain America and the third Iron Man films; there might actually be some hope of the actor reprising his role as Bruce Banner. In an interview with Coming Soon, Norton admitted to being contacted by Marvel:

“…There’s always been an agenda I think to unspool a lot of the Marvel Universe and then come back… I think they’ve got a lot of new stuff that they’re rolling out and then I think at some point they’re going to figure out how they want to get around to ‘Avengers.'”

“The main guy I had a beef with there left anyways, as always happens,” he admitted. “As David Mamet said, ‘Just wait ’em out cause they’ll be gone, and you’ll still be there.'”

Hey, wishful thinking, doesn’t hurt. Once “Iron Man 2” and “Thor” do damage at the box-office, the tables will turn.
