iPhone owners can now partake in wildlife preservation and possibly save endangered species by identifying animals through live photographs taken from motion-sensor cameras placed in remote locations across the world. How so? Downloading the iPhone-exclusive Instant WILD app just released by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). The donation-supported application gives you up-close views from animal habitats set up in Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Kenya, and the United Kingdom—capturing real-time images and shooting them back to your Apple phone, which then requests users to identify the species class of a spotted animal. Pretty dope, huh? Nature lovers can read up more on the Instant WILD app at the Edge of Existence website or download it for FREE on iTunes.
