Sometimes we fall into those moments where we come up with excuses to ignore a message. Well, if you’re on WhatsApp, you might have to think another strategy, as the social media app is introducing a new feature that informs senders of when their IMs are being read. Double blue check marks will be shown next to the messages received by recipients in a conversation.
The app will also include other attributes that indicate the status of a message with one grey check suggesting the message has been successfully sent and two gray checks indicating deliver to a recipient’s phone. Holding down the message lets users access info and check on time stamps. Keep in mind the only way to avoid such notifications is by not opening the app.
