Bloodborne Debut
Out of the shadows emerges…Project Beast Bloodborne. From Software’s anticipated title garnered a ton of buzz before hitting the stage at Sony’s PlayStation press conference, suffering video leaks ahead of its announcement. In the video shown at the expo, we didn’t get any real-time gameplay (or so we think). What we do get to see is the dark, gothic cityscapes and creepy dungeons that the story will be set in, as well as a preview of a few of the baddies—namely zombies and one giant monster at the end, that we don’t get a good view of. The combination of action and horror present in the video is very reminiscent of Dark Souls, and if Bloodborne is anything like that franchise, gamers will be satisfied with the end result, which should be released in 2015.
