Creator Ed Boon has been teasing a new entry in the Mortal Kombat series for the past few days, primarily on his Twitter feed using the hashtag “Who’s Next.” Absent on the gaming front since its 2011 reboot, the franchise has been successfully resurrected with the last entry gaining universal acclaim across all gaming platforms. Building on the moment, NetherRealm Studios has decided to share the first visuals for its latest project, Mortal Kombat X. It’s unknown whether the actual footage is real-time gameplay, but the graphics looks pretty sick. Though we could do without the Wiz Khalfia vocals. We’re still waiting on character details, but this should hold the MK community over till then. Enjoy the teaser above.
