With vampires becoming Hollywood’s latest sugar daddy, it would be nothing more than typical to place Morbius as the main villain for the next Spider-Man film. Director Sam Raimi discussed his infatuation with the character and has expressed interesting in making him the web slinger’s next big screen adversary. Earlier this year, Raimi talked with Empire Magazine and stated, “I like it in the Marvel comics when Spider-Man fights Morbius.” Yet during a recent interview with FearNet, Raimi squeaked, “What? I don’t know anything about that.” So what’s the deal? Whatever, get the Lizard or Electro in there, and you got gold again.
