The Fantastic Four are back and according to an interview with Vulture, Miles Teller says everything will be different. The young actor is now stepping into the shoes of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic and shared some insight on the reboot’s developments by saying it will go in a different direction:

“All those actors were a lot older, their characters were in different places. The tone of this film is completely different: We don’t have Michael Chiklis in a big Styrofoam thing, and I think that [a more grounded approach] is what people are into — X-Men: First Class is doing that. You’re dealing with these characters but you’re making them real people in how they exist day-to-day. People wanted it to be taken more seriously than the kind of Dick Tracy, kitschy, overly comic-book world.”

The previous installments took a more comedic approach to the characters, but Teller promises a different turnout with different character portrayals this time out. We can only hope the upcoming film, being released August 2015, won’t disappoint.
