A recruitment ad for the position of Senior Producer posted on Microsoft’s Careers webpage shows that 343 Industries is planning to develop “a new project line in the Halo universe.” Though the post did not offer any details on the new game or games, the ad asks that candidates “be able to gracefully shift between different teams (internal and external),” raising the possibility of the developer working with an external studio on the project.
While it is not clear if the game in question will be part of the main Halo series or a spin-off title, 343 Industries is clearly taking the new project line quite seriously: the ad explicitly mentions the position will involve ensuring that “the game hits the quality expected of a title within the Halo Franchise.”
Considering that 343 Industries is currently hard at work finishing Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5: Guardians, it could be a while before gamers get their hands on this newly-revealed game.
