Lorinser Gives Mercedes S-Class Horsepower Boost

Auto-tuning specialists Lorinser decided to give the new Mercedes S-Class a nice little horsepower facelift, rolling out its tuning program for the luxury sedan at the Essen Motor Show. The vehicle sports an aerodynamic body kit fitted with a new grille, enhanced bumpers, carbon fiber flaps, unique alloy wheels, and a sports exhaust system. The S500 is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 that produces 530 hp and 590 lb-ft) of torque, which is an increase of 75 hp and 73 lb-ft from the previous engine model. Word is this beauty hits 0 – 100 km/h in less than five seconds and topping 155 mph. Not bad.
