The 2014 Mercedes C-Class has suffered a series of Internet leaks over the past several weeks. This recent shot of the luxury vehicle recently hit the web ahead of its 2014 Detroit Auto Show debut, looking like a more upscale version than its predecessor. Take a look at the upgrade grilled, LED-infused headlights, CLA-inspired rear with dual-exhaust system, S-Class style taillights and beautifully crafted bodywork. Auto55.be snagged the leaked shot and reports the C-Class is 8cm longer than the original model, also scaling 100 kg less due to its aluminum body panels. The company looks to also offer three different engine models:
• Turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 157 HP (115 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque
• Turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 186 HP (136 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque
• 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel with 170 HP (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque
We can expect to see the full version of the C-Class on December 16th.
