
LG introduced the X300 back at CES in January and now the tech company makes it’s official announcement of the netbook going on sale this month. The super-thin netbook weighs in at 970g, 17.5mm wide and brandishes an 11.6 LCD screen, 1.3-megapizel webcam and SRS TruSurround HD sound for audiophiles. The X300 garners a 2.0 GHz Intel Menlow platform with up to 2GB and 128GB SSD; plus comes equipped with Windows 7 Home Premium and a spare 2-cell battery. The X300’s embedded 3G modem allows users to get online through all GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and JSDPA networks. Available in both white and light brown, LG’s netbook will make its debut this month in Asia, with South America and the Middle East to follow. No official pricing is confirmed.
