The last time Killer Instinct was seen on a console was during the 64-era, but Rare’s killer fighting game is set to make its return and debut on the Xbox 360. In an interview with Rare’s Mark Betteridge, IGN discusses how the Killer Instinct 3 should hopefully be a reality, with a special add-on:
“It’s about timing, and it’s about the opportunity creatively and gameplay-wise that it would offer. Street Fighter IV looked great and they’ve done a great job, and I’m a big fan of those products, but with KI we want to do something different rather than go back into that arena. I think it’s about doing something different than with a conventional controller.”
Sounds like Rare is pushing for Natal support, doesn’t it?
