Lionsgate has released the official plot for Saw VI. The latest installment takes place after the events of the fifth film and will continue to gross out audiences with its maniacal traps and ridiculous plot twists.
“Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.”
This is set to be the “final” film in the never-ending horror series, but then again, III was quoted as being Jigsaw’s final hoorah. At least the films provide some entertainment value…right? Saw VI opens in theaters October 23.
