Looks like Jaguar’s eco-sports car concept could soon be put into production, with an expected release window of 2014 or 2015. The luxury carmaker is in the “midst of a refining process under the financial protection of Tata Motors,” according to Auto Evolution. And to add more promise to the Jaguar C-X16 being built, global brand director Adrian Hallmark told Inside Line the followning: “Jaguar without a sports car is like Porsche without a 911.” Ain’t that the truth. It’s been said the British auto staple has held up production of the prototype to focus on “producing sales-driving models first.” Let’s get it onto the sales floors ASAP, gentlemen. And by that, we mean the US sales floors.
