Tony Stark’s been blessed with some mean ass rides in the past and his new collection of dope vehicles in the upcoming threequel are no exception. Sticking with his automaker of choice, Audi, the billionaire philanthropist/superhero looks to put some miles on his new stunner: the EV supercar known as the Audi R8 e-tron. Totted as the “future of electric mobility,” the e-car already has a few feats under its belt such as setting a new world record on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, which remains the hardest test track around the globe.
The e-tron flaunts engineering technology that even Iron Man himself would find appealing–sporting a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that produce 49 KWh of energy and electric motors that generate close to 375 hp (280 kW), along with 820 Nm of torque. Acceleration peaks at 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 155 mph. Once again, commendable benchmarks for an e-car. For the record, it’s ok to hate.
