While details remain secrete, Honda looks to steal top honors at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show with its Small Sports EV Concept. The futuristic speedster resembles the Porsche Boxster, which Honda dealers view as its competition in the US, and is said to be a “modern interpretation of the NSX” supercar. Honda says the EV concept “maximizes the fun of driving while achieving excellent environmental performance.”
Honda’s AC-X Saloon Concept is being pushed as its next-gen plug-in hybrid that “offers a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience in urban and long-distance motoring.” The model will offer a two-mode drive system (automatic and engine) that should easily suit both relaxed and speed-hungry drivers.
More details are set to be unveiled as Honda pulls the sheets off its two concepts at next month’s Tokyo Motor Show.
