It’s been known for quite some time that Apple has had initial plans of launching an Apple Store at Grand Central in New York City. Tech blog TechFootNote managed to grab pics of the store’s construction site (scaffolding and all) and claims the new location will be the biggest Apple Store in the world: “square footage wise.”
9to5Mac reports that the Cupertino Clan plan on announcing the opening this Tuesday, while indicating the store carry over 300 employees, which are already training at other NY-based Apple Store locations. We’re curious to know if Steve Jobs helped design the new spot, seeing how he was recently given patent credit for another NYC Store (read here).
