“Ghost Rider 2” might ride on without Nicolas Cage due to scheduling problems. Vulture has reported Cage might infact turn down the role of Johnny Blaze to do a third installment of “National Treasure” for a bigger pay day. Columbia is working diligently to go into production before it’s November 14th deadline in which, contractually, the rights to the film will revert to Disney, the new owner of Marvel. FlashForward writers Scott Gimple and Seth Hoffman, along with Batman Begins writer David S. Goyer have already turned in the draft of the script.
