According to Xbox Live banner ads, Gears of War 3 is being planned for an April 2011 release. Perhaps, this Xbox Live ad was planned to release in conjunction with Cliff Blezinski’s appearance on Jimmy Fallon this week because the banner has been taken down. Although, the Gears’ icon has since been taken down, the news is out now, and Gears of War fans can start X’ing off the days on their calendar for what is sure to be next year’s blockbuster.
