When it comes to next-gen gaming consoles, the primary issue at hand is always supply and demand. No consumer electronics retail chain has ever met the preorder demand for a newly launched system: ever. GameStop might be looking to change all of this, as a leaked company memo acquired by GameTrailers indicates it will be offering unlimited PS4 preorders “until further notice.”
“Starting now, through this weekend and until further notice, Sony has allowed us to take unlimited preorders beyond your current allotments,” reads a line from the memo.” If true, then Sony is obviously upping its production heavy for the holidays, which in turn means trouble for Microsoft. Guess a favorable E3 outing will push a company to meet such high demands. With the GameStop website stating console will be available at launch, we suggest you get a preorder in ASAP.
