Say hello to the fastest and most powerful speedster in the luxury automaker’s history: the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The Italian auto staple looks to officially unveil the sports car at next week’s Geneva Motor Show, which flaunts a 730bhp, 6.3-litre V12 engine and zips past 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds. Max speed is clocked at over 211 mph. Ferrari claims the F12 Berlinetta has lapped its Fiorano test track in about 1 minute and 23 seconds, making it the fastest car to ever cross the circuit.
The F12 sports a new aluminum spaceframe chassis and body frame, giving it a dry weight of 1525kg. Inside, we’re looking at a Frau leather finish with carbon-fibre and aluminum trim lashings. Expect this one to run for £250,000 sometime 2013. We’re hoping to have some video and up-close shots of the F12 Berlinetta from the Geneva Motor Show in a couple of days.
