While Activision might have put the axe down with its Guitar Hero series, Ubisoft plans on reinventing the gaming genre with its new music sim title: Rocksmith. Creative Director Paul Cross gave us a hands-on preview at Ubisoft’s Holiday Showcase and demonstrated the game’s new peripheral…a real guitar. Yea, you can actually use a real guitar to play the game. How crazy is that? Take a look as he gives the audience a soundcheck, while showing us his string skills via live demo.
