Evolve Hits Up the Official NBA 2K12 NYC Launch Party

New York City was blazing last night as 2K Sports welcomed an exclusive crowd to its official NBA 2K12 launch party at the Hudson Hotel. Besides kicking it with living NBA legends Scottie Pippen and Robert Horry, we caught up with the Oklahoma City Thunder’s big man, Kevin Durant, and the Lopez Brothers, Brook and Robin, during an intense basketball gaming session. Hip-hop’s elite was also in the building, as Busta Rhymes and Jadakiss hit the stage to perform some of their classics, while MTV’s Sway came through to host a rap battle sponsored by the gaming publisher.

Those in attendance also got their hands-on with the iOS version of the game, which many of the beautiful hostesses were showcasing via iPad 2. Impressive. Nike also made its presence felt and laced up a fresh pair of customized Kobe’s for the players and special media guests that consisted of the NY Post, InsideHoops.com, The Source Magazine, and of course, the Evolve Team.
