Seems like everyone is geeking out over next week’s Game Developer Conference in San Francisco. If that’s the case, then Epic’s recent announcement of previewing its Unreal Engine 4 during the event should have you jumping off walls right about now. While it might seem like a dream come true for those in attendance, all speculation leads to the team showcasing its graphics technologies to “select licensees, partners and prospective customers,” with the occasional non-disclosure agreement thrown into the mix. No major details have been shared on the Unreal Engine 4 thus far. So maybe Epic will give us something come next week.
