Emojli App is a Social Network Reserved for Emoji Communication

When email came along, we began to abbreviate words to save time. Then came texting, and we created acronyms to replace complete sentences. By the time smartphones were introduced, we had stopped using words altogether. It’s official: We live in the age of emojis.

Emojis are small images, commonly used to convey an emotion or replace a word. A new app called Emojli, coming soon to iOS, is attempting to capitalize on the craze by creating an emoji-exclusive chat platform. Their slogan is simple: “No words. No spam. Just emoji.” Will this new social network take off? Judging by the popularity of emojis, we think so.
