The Call of Duty franchise has been under fire a lot recently. From low sales numbers, to disappointment with the general direction, Activision has hung on to their star franchise and the commitment to this first DLC pack, Havoc, is a testament to that fact.

Whether you are a fan of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare or not, you might want to pick up the game just to experience its next move. Introducing Exo Zombies is a bold move for Sledgehammer. Zombies has been a staple of Treyarch’s involvement in Call of Duty, but Sledgehammer is taking their own…swing… at it soon. Havoc, while introducing the traditional multiplayer zombies to Advanced Warfare, also will feature the first ever story line for Zombie mode. Featuring another all star cast of voice actors, you will be able to discover just how zombies came to be in this universe. With voices from Bill Paxton, John Malkovich, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal; you will be able to discover the plague as well as fight it.

This is Advanced Warfare’s first of four traditional DLC packs and also features four new general multiplayer maps named Core, Urban, Sideshow and Drift as well as new staple weapons AE4 Widowmaker and the AE4 Directed Energy Assault Rifle.

The Havoc DLC will release on January 27th first on the Xbox One. Like the traditional timed exclusives for Microsoft, Sledgehammer will release this DLC at a later date for other platforms.
