With production on Days of Future Past wrapping several months back, director Bryan Singer has begun to set the wheels in motion for its follow-up titled X-Men: Apocalypse. With a projected release date of May 27, 2016, the threequel is already in its development phases as Singer brings X2: X-Men United scribers Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty back into the fold to tackle all writing duties. The announcement came directly from his Twitter page. Singer’s social media account has become a haven for the latest news in the X-Men franchise and all Marvel fanboys couldn’t be more grateful for his updates. Seeing how X2 is considered the best film in the series, we expect the Apocalypse to be even better.
