Liquid cooling isnt just for overclockers anymore, now graphic designers and CG artists can get in on the fun. CoolIT Systems – the liquid cooling profesionals – has announced a partnership with high-performance workstation manufacturer, BOXX Technologies, to produce a liquid cooled variant of the 3DBOXX 4850 Series workstation PC.
What is already the worlds fastest single core system, sporting a 4GHz Intel core i7 under the hood with the ability to simultaneously render and multi-task single threaded apps, the 4850 Series (no relation to ATI’s 4850) will now be one of the quietest workstations on the market. Designed with 3D and 2D design specialists in mind, the addition of a CoolIT liquid cooling system should help maintain that perfectly silent workplace environment for an artist to find their muse.
