Motion-gesture functionality will never be perfected on a mobile device. Just reference the Galaxy S4. But there’s one company that is making strides with its technology—introducing a small infrared light emitter that connects to the microUSB of any Android device to enable interaction via eye movement. That product is the Eye Tribe, and as the reports suggest, it’s impressive and responsive. Android lead developer Anders Bo Pedersen demoed the device on the show floor, playing Fruit Ninja for an audience and chopping fruit using his eyes, while scrolling through menu options with a glance. We know, we know…Bluetooth headsets are so 2007. Well guess what? Wireless earpieces are back in fashion thanks to the vast expansion of the wearable market and Plantronics is ready to play trendsetter once again with its new flagship offering. The Voyager Edge flaunts an attractive, yet minimalist design that comes paired with a stylish battery case, which ups the battery runtime from 6 to 16 hours. The headset boasts an array of advanced communications features, great noise cancellation, and NFC to pair easily with most mobile devices as well. Jawbone has some stiff competition ahead of it.
