This bright and early morning of December 18th, 2014, will be remembered as the day Ubisoft almost made up for how bad the launch of Assassin’s Creed: Unity was. Season Pass holders can now go to this website to redeem their free game.
The free game list is as follows: Far Cry 4, The Crew, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, Watch Dogs, Rayman Legends, and Just Dance 2015.
These six games will be available for redemption up until March 15th but hold on, it might just take that long to redeem the games. This seriously must have been a frustrating year for Ubisoft, but if their website doesn’t work for their free game redemption service for a game that didn’t work, we wouldn’t be surprised if Ubisoft blacks out 2014 from their records all together.
The good part about these free games is that the website gives you a code, not directly the game. What this means is, if you already own all of these titles and want to give away your game, you can! Just send someone the code and be on your merry way!
Again, don’t be surprised if it takes awhile to get into the website itself. We personally found that right clicking the link and hitting “Open in a new tab” was easier than just directly accessing the link (for whatever reason). But enjoy your free game and lets all hope that Ubisoft’s 2015 is much better than its 2014.
