Apple’s Q3 earnings reached new heights as the company earned an atmospheric $28.57 billion in revenue. And after overseeing next quarter, the company may have hinted at the next-gen iPhone possibly arriving arrive sometime in September. Apple’s Chief Financial Officer, Peter Oppenheimer, stated that the company should undergo a “future product transition” during September that would affect sales estimates that quarter.

Oppenheimer’s statement was a response to Morgan Stanley analyst Katie Huberty, who questioned why Apple’s estimates for the September quarter would dip by 12 percent. Oppenheimer then explained that Apple would have “a lot going on in the fall with iOS 5 and iCloud,” as well as a “future product transition that we will not talk about today.”

Other rumored Apple “future product transition(s)” include the iPad 3, or the possible iPad HD, which is also believed to hit sometime in September with 1080p HD support and new iTunes HD+ movie content. Kudos to Apple Insider for the heads up.
