Seems like Apple is all for live-streaming its events as of late. The company did it with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus announcements last month, and now, plans are to do the same with its next-gen iPad event this week. It’s set to take place on Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. ET/1 p.m. PT at its Cupertino headquarters, which will be viewable at Apple.com/live. Keep in mind you’ll need to use the Safari browser to watch it.
The rumored iPad Air 2 is expected to feature Touch ID fingerprint sensors, iOS 8, Apple Pay, and the latest A8 processor. Previous reports suggested Apple would unveil a 12.9-inch iPad, though recent reports suggest such a device has been postponed due to high demand for the iPhone 6 Plus.
No official details or specs have been confirmed as of yet. And you already know Apple doesn’t comment on rumors. So guess we’re waiting it out till Thursday.
