It was a huge day for the Cupertino Clan, as Apple made several major announcements and unveiled its holiday product lineup to the world: including the highly anticipated iPad Air. The next-gen tablet weights a mere one pound, while sporting a 7.5mm thickness and slim bezel estimated to be 43 percent thinner than the previous models. Apple claims the iPad Air features the same 64-bit A7 processor found in the iPhone 5S and a 9.7-inch display with the same pixel resolution (2,048 x 1,536) as before. This thing looks ridiculously gorgeous.
One of the other major products also showcased at the event was the new Retina-powered MacBook Pro, which carries a dual-core 2.4GHz fourth-gen Haswell Intel Core i5 chip with Iris graphics, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB solid-state drive under the hood. The new model is also said to push an impressive 9 hours of usage up to 90 percent faster performance than the previous MacBook Pro.
