Earlier this year, the Italian-based tech company I’mWatch announced its Android digital watch, and though it seemed more gimmicky than innovative, it grew quite a buzz among Android conformists. Just over the weekend at the ARM conference, the company introduced its gadget to US audiences and put up a YouTube video detailing the product and its building foundation.

While it’s shy on the powerful specs found on most Android smartphones, the device sports a 1.5-inch touchscreen that produces 240×240 pixel resolution. The dynamic OS also offers communication features such as phone call, email, and contact integration. If that doesn’t sound impressive, the I’mWatch is also capable of storing and playing music, accessing social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and provides access to its own app store. Not bad. Those interested can check out the in-depth preview below or hit up the I’mWatch website to import the high-tech watch for 299,00 €.
