2014 Vauxhall VXR8 GTS

The sheets have official been pulled off the 2014 Vauxhall VXR8 GTS with the UK automaker releasing a few shots and specs of the high-performance vehicle. Underneath the hood lies a supercharged LSA V8 engine, which produces 576 hp and 545 lb-ft of torque. Nothing has been shared in regards to speed performance, though we anticipate the VXR8 GTS to hit 96 km/h in just 4.9 seconds like last year’s model.

This year’s version also looks to flaunt an updated VF generation Holden Commodore that consists of completely new front and rear fascias. Though you’ll notice the sportier front end with stylish black rear wing, black wheels with red brake calipers, and white and black rear bumpers with quad exhaust pipes. Another upgrade is the inclusion of Brake Torque Vectoring to reduce understeering.

It’s still undetermined when we’ll see the 2014 Vauxhall VXR8 GTS hit the showroom floor. We anticipate Q1 2014.
