Alfred Confirms It, "No Johnny Depp" In Batman 3

With Pirates 4 in limbo, fans would figure Johnny Depp would jump at the opportunity to play the mind-boggling villain in the third Batman film: The Riddler. The rumors have been out there for months, and now comes the disappointing news. In an interview with MTV, Michael Caine kills all rumors of Jack Sparrow donning the green spandex suit with purple question mark:

“[They] won’t tell me anything because I said this before…Johnny Depp is great in anything, but there is no Johnny Depp in this Batman…They tell me in no uncertain terms.”

There goes that riddle. Maybe the second half of the villain rumors can become a reality. Warner Bros. should really push for Phillip Seymour Hoffman to play the Penguin.
