They Need to Take Back The Horror Throne
It’s not like the horror genre is lacking original video games. The success of franchises like Dead Space and Silent Hill show horror is alive and still popular amongst gamers. Capcom was instrumental in creating the genre with the original PlayStation RE entries, but lost their midas scare touch with every recent installment. With Capcom shying away, other developers have moved in and capitalized on the genre’s popularity, knocking the company off its previously held throne. A remake of Resident Evil 2 would go a long way in putting Capcom back in the conversation of gaming scare masters.
