For months, we’ve been teased with a number of shots of the Magnum Mk5 sports car. Now the company has made it official and showing it off in full, unveiling the speedster’s insanely futuristic design and sharing performance specs. On top of sporting a small four-cylinder motorbike engine mated with a shifting six-speed sequential gearbox that helps the Mk5 push 247 hp and 11,000 rpm. It’s also capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and tops 150 mph. Not bad for the small engine under the hood.
The car is constructed from carbon fiber bodywork and weighs about 545 kg, too. Word is the carmaker will offer a series of different street and track-centric packages for customers looking to distinguish their rides from other models. The Magnum Mk5 is scheduled to ship late next year with each car going for $140,000.
