Chrysler’s mid-sized SUV is already a beast on wheels, but Hennessy Performance looks to make it a monstrosity on the road by increasing the vehicle’s horsepower performance. The engine specialists have added a twin-turbo engine and offered a displacement increase from 6.4-literes to 7.0, which revs up an insane 805hp and 823 lb-ft of torque. The SRT8 can hit 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds, while running “1/4 mile in 10.9 seconds at 130mph.” Thanks to egmCarTech for the heads up. Other upgrades include the transmission and torque converter, lightweight 20-inch wheels, and stop-power Brembo brake system. All that power comes at a higher price, as the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 starts at $235,000.
