The Volkswagen Phaeton is tech’d to death. Volkswagen’s new navigation system is featured in the interior with an optional 1000-watt DynAudio sound system. The Phaeton also features road-sign reading cameras. It reads speed limit signs, no-passing signs, displays information and has a lane departure prevention system. In addition, the LED headlights can visualize oncoming traffic and direct the beam to maintain the driver’s visibility via VW’s Dynamic Light Assist technology. The diesel version has a 240-hp, 3.0-liter V-6, while the gas-powered Phaeton gives buyer’s various choices in engines: 280-hp, 3.6-liter V-6, a 335-h, 4.2-liter V-8, or a 450-hp, 6.0-liter W-12.
