Cortana
The biggest feature as part of the software update comes in the form of Microsoft’s digital assistant: Cortana. The voice-command system is the company’s version of Siri and Google Now, but more advanced—adapting to a user’s Bing search inquiries and automatically populating its accompanied notebook interface with suggestions. The ability to program the notebook from Cortana’s settings is available as well. As we’ve witnessed firsthand, Cortana does initiate voice searches much faster than Siri.
