A Sequel With A Plot
When it comes to most sequels, studios tend to disregard or tread away from its predecessor. Sometimes they’ll just ignore the original source material in general. However, Fox knows the value of the rebooted franchise’s backstory and continuing the story. The sequel will establish the anti-human/pro-ape world. However, this isn’t just about the hatefulness apes have developed for humans and vice versa. There are internal struggles amongst both camps.
