Invisibility Cloak
Superhero: Invisible Woman
We’ve all witnessed the joys of being unseen to the public from such film classics as The Invisible Man and Hollow Man (take the recommendation with humor). But scientists from the Tokyo University in Japan went on to create the closest thing possible to invisibility—making a jacket using a special type of “retro-reflective material” that serves as a photographic screen and cloaks the wearer. This is accomplished through a camera hidden behind the person, which reflects onto the coat to create a transparent appearance.
