Halo 2 Anniversary

Anniversary reboots seem to be where it’s at right now, as Microsoft proved when releasing the highly successful Halo: CE Anniversary two years back. So in celebration of the Halo 2 anniversary coming up this November, Microsoft might look to give fans more Master Chief goodness by updating the popular shooter. Microsoft’s Phil Spencer said the multiplayer experience of Halo 2 Anniversary will be the main focus, although he never said when it will be released and if it will be Xbox One bound. And with Halo 5 and the upcoming TV series destined to steal the spotlight during the company’s keynote, many question if Microsoft will pull off the triple threat or save the smaller of its Halo announcements for a future event. As unlikely as it might seem, it would be interesting to see Halo 2 re-released in HD, something the entire trilogy would benefit from in the future.
