At a time when the Xbox One was in dire need of a killer IP to help regain some notoriety during the early stages of the next-gen war, out came one of the most revolutionary shooters of the past five years to save the day. The Microsoft-exclusive shot its way to the top of the game charts, dragging the Xbox One to fight against the PS4, which seems to be winning the battle at the moment. Titanfall has sold nearly 3 million copies and remains the highest-selling title released this year. Xbox One Titanfall bundles have alone sold over 500,000 units. Respawn Entertainment and Microsoft look like a match made in heaven and the PC giant is surely pushing for exclusive rights again to the already discussed sequel, which looks to be going multiplatform.
