A promising new IP for the PS4, The Order: 1886 drops players into an alternate-universe Victorian London suffering from attacks by bestial half-humans and simmering class tensions. The protagonists are four knights in service of the Arthurian order that keeps the half-breed monsters at bay. The game’s well-developed premise and the steam-punk world in which the knights wage their war make this one of the most intriguing upcoming games of 2015. Developers have already created a rich and detailed backstory for The Order: 1886, raising the tantalizing possibility that if this game is successful, future titles could explore different time periods in the same universe.
