With the use of the PSone shooter creation kit, Dezaemon Kids!, someone was able to put a different twist to the Super Mario Bros. franchise—turning the Game Boy classic Super Mario Land into a side-scrolling shooter. After checking out the gameplay footage, it’s clearly not the plumber’s most exciting adventure, but an interesting mod nonetheless. Dezaemon Kids! is set for a North American PSN release, but it’s unknown if the Mario title will be included in the bundle. Too old school for your taste?
