Will Smith Set For Two More ID4 Films?

A sequel for the 1996 blockbuster “Independence Day” have been rumored for nearly 14 years. Now come reports from IESB.Net that series star Will Smith inked a deal with 20th Century Fox to star in two “ID4” sequels. Smith’s asking price of $20 million salary per picture was a significant reason for the follow-up staying on the drawing board, but Fox might have come around this go around, as IESB claiming both films will be shot back-to-back. Filming is supposedly set to kick off as early next year. We’ll wait for confirmation from Fox before we believe this “rumor.”
